Regular price $119.99 Sale

A legendary tree endemic to only Hawaii, Koa is possibly the rarest North American species of wood. Only top-grade Koa, which grows at high altitudes on Maui and the Big Island, produces the iconic sparkle and curl for which the wood is famous.

This pen includes a premium cut of stabilized box elder burl wood and a Swarovski crystal inset into the clip. As a luxury writing instrument, this fountain pen is built to last. The components feature real rhodium plating for a durable shine that will never wear or dull. Each pen is protected by the most-durable, high-gloss cyanoacrylate finish.

Finish: Gloss – The crystal-clear gloss finish holds several distinct advantages over the satin finish. It is much more durable, and will never need refinishing. It provides a clearer, better lens for light-colored woods and layered woods of contrasting colors. For intricate designs with inlay or small pieces, the gloss coating acts as a barrier to prevent small parts from separating. The “smooth” option guarantees an ultra smooth finish, achieved by a two-stage finishing process with cyanoacrylate, sanded to 12,000 grit, then waxed and polished.
