This unique rollerball pen is made from a combination of burl wood and alumilite resin. So much work goes into each and every one of these pens - stabilizing the wood with a hardening agent, casting it under pressure with resin and mica powder, carving with carbide instead of usual steel - but the end result is worth it; a completely unique, one-of-a-kind, non-replicable writing instrument. If you're looking for something that stands out and can't be copied, look no further than my hybrid wooden rollerball pens!
The rollerball in the photos is the pen you will receive. Includes a premium Schmidt 5888 rollerball ink cartridge for the best-possible writing experience. As a luxury writing instrument, this pen is built to last. The components feature real rhodium plating for a durable shine that will never wear or dull. Each pen is protected by the most-durable, high-gloss cyanoacrylate finish.

Finish: Gloss – The crystal-clear gloss finish holds several distinct advantages over the satin finish. It is much more durable, and will never need refinishing. It provides a clearer, better lens for light-colored woods and layered woods of contrasting colors. For intricate designs with inlay or small pieces, the gloss coating acts as a barrier to prevent small parts from separating. The “smooth” option guarantees an ultra smooth finish, achieved by a two-stage finishing process with cyanoacrylate, sanded to 12,000 grit, then waxed and polished.
I do not recommend engraving this pen due to the figure and beauty of the wood
