Top-grade Honduran Rosewood Burl may just be the rarest and most prized pen turning wood on this planet. This exhibition-grade wood is magnificently complex, featuring visible grain, spalting, curl, and a obvious sapwood/heartwood distinction. In summary, all of the characteristics that make wood rare and eye-catching are prominent in this wonderfully unique rollerball pen.
As a luxury writing instrument, this pen is built to last. The components feature real rhodium plating for a durable shine that will never wear or dull. Each pen is protected by the most-durable, high-gloss cyanoacrylate finish.

Finish: Gloss – The crystal-clear gloss finish holds several distinct advantages over the satin finish. It is much more durable, and will never need refinishing. It provides a clearer, better lens for light-colored woods and layered woods of contrasting colors. For intricate designs with inlay or small pieces, the gloss coating acts as a barrier to prevent small parts from separating. The “smooth” option guarantees an ultra smooth finish, achieved by a two-stage finishing process with cyanoacrylate, sanded to 12,000 grit, then waxed and polished.
